Bio
Being an educator has always been important to me. I have been employed with Bledsoe County Schools since August 2005. I taught 2 years prior to coming to Bledsoe at Sequatchie County Schools. I have been principal at Pikeville Elementary since July of 2020.
I graduated from high school in Bledsoe County in 1996 and started my education in the fall at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I earned my degree in Exceptional Education K-12 in December of 2002. After teaching for one year, I continued my education at Tennessee Tech University and earned a masters degree in Instructional Leadership K-12.
My husband, Lee, and I live in Bledsoe County and have been married since 2005. We have 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. We also own 2 family businesses, RLM Land & Auction Company, and Morris Bros Stockyard.
I am grateful to have a career that I love and enjoy. It is not always easy, especially during such trying times as Covid has presented to us, but it is rewarding and fulfilling. I am excited to for another year at Pikeville Elementary.
